I got through Belgrade, Yugoslavia. It was ridiculously hot and humid, even for my taste. I spent a day on a houseboat on the river with some local friends I made. I swam, but the water was pretty disgusting and filthy. People here just throw all their garbage into the river and say the fish will eat it. Gross. Serbia was not as bad as I expected. The people were pretty normal. They picked up two bad habits from being under Turkish rule for so long, the way they look at woman and they are very dirty and litter.

Caught a train to Sofia, Bulgaria. From there Istanbul and then Israel is my plan. It is almost the end of my trip and will be back in South Africa around September time after hopefully some recuperation time in Israel.
I felt kinda strung out. Sick of running around like a lunatic.

OK, I'm  back in Istanbul and got through Belgrade and Bulgaria safely. I have met a real nice jewish american girl , Rachel, and we have been touring around the city together. As it sux to do Istanbul alone as it is such a huge city. Can you imagine there are 20 million people living here. Its majorly crowded.

I am so broke right now. I spent the last of my cash on a air ticket to Israel
and I hope everything will  work out. Feeling rather confused about what my next steps are going to be. I need to sit and discuss my life with  people who really care about me.
